This was a subtle wine but very tasty. I really enjoy this wine. My current palette is for Pinot's so I wouldn't recommend it for those who drink Cab's. I feel like this is a great wine for those who just started drinking wine and are not looking for the strength of a Cab. — 6 years ago

Just tried a glass of Mark West 2017 before dinner and it tasted like some of the cigars I've tried in the past. It wasn't very good to my palette so sent it back to the bartender. Sorry Mark West, however I give second chances so I'll see you down the road sometime.

On to the next vintage.

I just started drinking wine (literally this is my 3rd bottle but I discovered that I really love wine) and so i can not really say anything worth mentioning other than this wine was very good and it went well with my bbq'ed burger. It wasn't strong like the other Pinot I tried but I believe this one had more of a dry taste and wasnt real fruity. Over all, I give it 4 out 5 Tequila shots (my alcohol of choice was tequila for 25 years) so this is my rating scale until I know better.

However, the only thing is... a screw cap??? What's up with that. Why change something that doesn't need to change, part of the fun is popping the cork.
