So this is the first time I have seen this 14 year bourbon barrel reserve (in blue) offering. Apparently, it's only offered in the US. I bought it while in Indiana; haven't seen it around the DC area yet myself.
Clean and smooth. A really nice oak finish. I'd say better than the 12 year that I normally buy.

This is REALLY good single malt scotch! But at upwards of $100 a bottle, it's not in my cabinet right now.
I would say that it has the complexities similar to Laphroaig (but maybe... just maybe, a bit harsher).

Smoother than the standard black label. When I ran it through my Vinturi Spirit aerator, it was even smoother than just taking it out of the bottle straight into a glass.
Probably on part with many single malt scotch available. — 9 years ago
