A dry sparkling that is better at the recommended 50 degrees F than at fridge temperature. I am not a fan of sparkling, so this was was a pleasant surprise with fewer bubbles that quickly dissipated and did not tickle my nose when drinking. Very clean on the palette, not sweet but not desert dry either. — 5 months ago
Drank with salad and pizza. Not a great combo. I don't care for it. Wife likes it. Maybe if we had beef for dinner instead?
Update: let the wine aerate in a carafe for 10 minutes before drinking again. What a difference. Changed my rating from 8.0 to 8.7. Will give this a second chance. — 7 months ago
Discovered this at a "Bang for your buck reds" event. The criteria was great wines that make you say wow when you hear the price. Less than $20 for 2016 vintage. Very good with red meats. As others have commented, benefits from decanting. I get some spice on the front, and good mouth feel. Pleasant finish. — a year ago
