This wine gets a perfect rating not only for it's flavors and complexity, but also because I was standing in the vineyard it was grown in, with the winemaker who made it, while I drank it...sometimes the sensory experience is what makes the wine taste the best! An interesting nose that is almost sulfur-y? But the mouthful is very juicy, velvety, but subtle. Dried fruits, slightly acidic. Could benefit from breathing or being aerated. — 4 years ago
