Lots of attitude. Name pretty much describes it. Sweet, “jammy”, taste more like a Shiraz in the aftertaste. Kind of a slutty cousin of a Pinotage. Clearly South African. — 7 years ago
2012. Takes a few hours to open up. Dry fruit and soil. Lingers on the palate. Better alone than with food. Excellent find. Comparable to other Nebbiolos three times the price. — 7 years ago
Vanilla and smoke start. Lacks legs. Imperfections covered by bourbon barrel, probably wouldn't care for this cab otherwise. — 7 years ago
Burnt vanilla bomb. Maple and rosemary. Had in a tasting but would pair excellent with smoked meat. — 7 years ago

Classic pinotage. Fruit forward, maybe berries and old pear. lingers in a tart way. I think the negative reviews are by those who haven’t had much pinotage. Underrated grape and The Wedge is pretty solid for the price point. — 7 years ago
