Agree that something must have gone terribly wrong with this vintage or perhaps requires mandatory aging - without doing so, it was undrinkable. Cloyingly sweet with an intensely unpleasant synthetic wood finish. We actually mixed it with a more tolerable but still unremarkable primitivo (Kin & Country) since it couldn't get worse, and it actually was quite an improvement but still. After so so experiences with several bottles from Club W, this was the last straw. I, too, canceled my membership. Bleh. — 8 years ago
