Its wines like this that make me distrust other people’s opinions. Compared to other merlots, this wine has a thin and acidic flavor. It’s overly fruity and worst of all, the fruit tastes unnatural, like children’s flavored cough syrup. The price is not low enough to redeem this utter garbage. Its a very dark flavor. I prefer when merlot is balanced with notes of vanilla and oak. Not for me, but I would not say it is a bad wine — 2 years ago

I prefer more vanilla and oak notes in my merlots, but this wine is still well balanced and a pleasure to drink — 2 years ago
