The opposite of a generic fruit bomb red. Far from perfect but so much its own wine, I have to admire the attempt. I quite enjoyed this. This vintage definitely avoided the "candied" flavor another reviewer commented on from an earlier iteration. — 9 years ago

Made the mistake of trying to drink the 2013 this week. Yikes - tannins wiped out what I think will probably be a good bottle in 4 years. Definitely decant this one if you can't wait till 2018. And eat something mild and fatty with it if you want to taste the spice and fruit. Giving it the benefit of the doubt in my rating. — 9 years ago
