A white wine for red wine lovers. Definitely got some peppery notes which were unexpected and delicious in a white. — 3 years ago
A just fine wine. Not bold for a red (should have known from the 90% merlot) but the cab franc adds some spunk. Raspberry jam, blackcurrant, and a little leather/tobacco earthiness on the nose, but mild jammy fruit on the palate. Less than medium tannins, low acidity, a tiny bit of sweetness on the tongue. This would be a good wine for someone who doesn’t like a bold, complex red or maybe thinks they don’t like red wine. An easy drink that doesn’t ask anything of you. I probably won’t buy again, but I’ll enjoy the rest of the bottle and it’s tasty enough for the price. — 3 years ago
Tasty wine, a nice full body red taste with the ease of a lighter wine. Easy to drink without thinking, but complex enough if you WANT to give it thought. — 3 years ago

Tried a handful of their zinfandels... the 2018 Deegan was delicious, mesquite smokey, and definitely a zin for those who don’t typically like zin. The 2018 Lopez was earthy and gravely, tasting like the smell after the rain in the BEST way. The 2018 Hansom was also delicious but completely different... sweet and jammy, like stewed black currants. The current 2018 “patio zin” is definitely a porch pounder, sweet and easy to drink, notes of berry preserves. All were fantastic and completely different. — 3 years ago
