Definitely a crowd pleasing wine. It's rare that I find a very traditional Champagne that I like. But this all Chardonnay has all the attributes of a very well produced wine. Happy to have discovered it on New Year's eve 2016.
This gives me a reason to go visit the Montagne de Reims finally. Previously all the Champagne wines I loved were from the South East corner of the region (with a few exceptions).
Beautiful bubbles, quite fine and just the right amount. The color shows without appearing fake. Great balance with a tendency toward a nice sweetness. The notes of apple mentioned by others are definitely there. This bottle had been dégorgé in late 2014. And I liked for a Brut more than I thought I would. Everyone else at the table did as well. It went very well with the Vanilla ice cream that topped our dessert. — 9 years ago
Deep color, strong nose (earthy), thick palate, unclear how it was aged. Plum and even prune favors. Bold for sure. Good alternative to strong grapes if looking for something big but not overwhelming — 10 years ago

Stunned by how good this wine was. Don't remember the details but really amazing. — 9 years ago
One of my most favorite non vintage Champagne. Its never disappointed anyone that tried it. As the Tarlant family grows, they keep creating amazing wines. Les Vignes d'Antan is just so unique. And Cuvée Louis. Que du bonheur. Buy any of their wine without any hesitation — 9 years ago
1983 Magnum. Tasted in New York, NY. Great color (bright yellow coloration despite the years). Slight petrol smell in the nose. Wonderful complexity of flavors. Quite dry, not as sweet as I would have liked. The 1983 Pinot Gris was truly amazing, this one is a very nice wine. — 10 years ago

Gorgeous deep color, very nice nose, and primarily a very nicely balanced palate. Perfect pairing with home made stuffed peppers. Somehow the rice will brings our the wine fruity flavors — 9 years ago
Not as brilliant as it could be but pleasant color nonetheless (veering towards brown). Nose has fantastic balance of earthy and berry notes. Pallet is delicious, smooth and great flavors. I wish the finish lingered a little longer. Still, perfect Saturday evening at home wine for two — 9 years ago
