Interesting wine. Overall pretty smooth. Deep dark color. Bouquet of jam and smoked meat. Flavor is mild, smokey, with delicate licorice. Finishes very late with a lighter acid. Interesting and original wine, would go great with BBQ — 8 years ago

Opens quickly, first bouquet is of meat and currants. Can see the game pairing idea. Agreed that tastes like medium bodied Malbec with a bit more juicy fruit, but well balanced with quick finish. Really nice find!Fairly simple but really delicious really drinkable — 8 years ago
