Good example of a white featuring the 'buttered popcorn' flavor from malolactic fermentation. Light and citrusy on the nose, just a hint of oak. Acidic and bright on the palate, pear and lemon, with a round and luscious finish on the backend, lingering distinct buttered popcorn flavor and aroma. Really enjoyed this wine, great for the price. Could have been a bit more balanced, had a rather rich finish for such a light and one-noted start. Would recommend if introducing someone to malolactic whites, or to get into them yourself. Good by itself or with white fish, chicken, or pasta, and white sauces. — 9 years ago
