Rallye 76 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Very strong nose full with spirit and earth. This bottle drinks like a delight. Complex and full with leathery deep cab feel. This is one of the better wines of the last year or two. We thoroughly enjoyed this. Drinking well now in 2021, but with potential for further evolution. Hearty and dark. Some fruit but much umami and smoke. Absolutely fabulous. What a treat. — 3 years ago

Accessible. Subtle fruit in the nose. Good long flavor evolution. Definitely has dark fruit forward. Some tannin but not heavy. Quite delightful. We enjoyed this after a 2014 Rallye 76, against which it pales. That was probably unfair to do to ourselves. Still this is a solid and delightful bottle. 9.0 or 9.1. — 3 years ago
