Even after breathing, not too impressed for the relative price. Slightly dry and thin body. Grandpa’s green pickup can likely pick up some better Pinot from Oregon. — 3 years ago
Lovely silky deep purple that will make your Robitussin (and any other purple or grape concoction in existence) jealous. On the dry side, with “dark fruit” of maybe cherry, blueberry, blackberry, some smoothing vanilla...and don’t forget that oak. This one hits home with the oak, which is nicely balanced in a blend of several of the best red wine styles...and I’m happy to report that it isn’t too much of a good thing! Balanced alcohol as well. This is a mature red blend that taunts all the big players. Stay away if you’re looking for a lighter “more fun” blend. Otherwise, sit back and let this mesmerizing Pendulum adjust your equilibrium. Avoid the food distraction and you’ll be jumping on & swinging in no time. — 3 years ago
Solid oaky offering that I’d happily return to. I don’t follow the unoaked trend happening at the moment. — 2 years ago
Smooth and tasty. And no cork work involved! You can’t ask for much more than this from the style. Honey and some pear and/or apple, at least. Simple classy label with an elk as the focal point...Win. I will return to the Cove any time the elk will have me. — 3 years ago
Average Malbec that I would gladly buy again as a fallback. Flavor and consistency seem to fall flat a bit, but I’m not sure if this could have been due to altitude, temperature, or time factors as it traveled across a few state lines over the past several years. I did enjoy the hint of coffee or chocolate to go along with the fruit and oak. — 3 years ago
It’s just okay. — 3 years ago
Solid but nothing to write home about. Fallback, if anything. — 3 years ago
It was okay. I was expecting more for the price. — 3 years ago

Very good but expected to like it a lot more considering how much I like their Chardonnay. Medium dry, medium fruit, low-medium sweetness. I would get it again but there are wines as good or possibly better for a lower price. — 2 years ago
