Great blend. It certainly is an author wine and you can feel the layers of each grape involved. The viognier might be giving this candy balance on the spiceness of the carmenere. Great pairing with spice sausages — 10 years ago

Family owned vineyard matias i torres from la palma in canary island very oaky wine with strong notes of pineapple. Grape variety is "diego" from la palma. The soil is poor volcanic and i would say the oakness takesover the minerality. Is not my kind of wine but is pleasent and is nice to see an oakey wine without the butter notes of chardonnay. — 10 years ago
