2012 keller #RR riesling from the rheinhessen. A friend brought this and it was probably wine of the night last night and maybe the best young Riesling I've ever had. Amazingly long mineral finish with some brilliant soft acidity. Everything in perfect balance. — 10 years ago
If pinot is the white wine drinkers red then this is the Shiraz drinkers pinot. 14.5%... Really? Popped and poured and this was impenetrable. Huge and full on but finishes with some varietal characteristics. Not enough finesse for me. — 10 years ago
Quick decant and then got stuck in. Red and black fruits on the nose with some black olive and spice on the palate. Surprisingly medium weight given that it's 15% — 10 years ago
