Opens up beautifully, Jammy strawberry flavors with a hint of leather and mossy notes. Drinks very easily, medium to light bodied, light tannic structure w medium acidity - wished the finish was a bit stronger, the flavors dwell off rather quickly compared to the acidity, but a GREAT value buy as well as a super fun introduction to Beaujolais for guests unfamiliar with the area and the gamay grape. — 7 years ago

This is such a fun wine! I love a good Sangiovese and think this was my first American Sangiovese, bold yet airy and balancedN a really fun wine to start some apps on or to pair with a lighter pasta. Would drink again on a heartbeat! — 7 years ago

I don’t think there is a stony hill Chardonnay that we don’t enjoy - this one was on the lighter side compared to some of the more aged versions we have had. Clean, balanced and opens up beautifully while drinking. — 7 years ago
