Pale straw color. Light aromas of pear, apple, honeydew and some clay pot notes. Refreshing amounts of acidity and sweetness, bringing the apple and pear notes in very brightly. Light body, very little to no hint of alcohol. Great with the salmon and lemon broccoli. As it warms, much more of the clay aromas. Keep chilled and it will do work — a year ago
My first foray into chard. Paired well with a blt. Pale straw color. Aroma crisp pear. Some hint of lime. Taste is apple with some hints of floral. Heavier alcohol tones at the end. Not my favorite, doesn’t have the acidity of the vhino verdes I’ve had recently and enjoy. More bodylingering almost white plum notes. — a year ago
Subdued nose with light note of berries and hints of ethanol. Some more cherry hints with a medium body and light warming on the finish. — a year ago
My glass sucked for this, so keep this rating with a grain of salt. fresh open had a lot of ethanol aromas, some red fruit. After opening up, Hint of almost maple and cherry. Cranberry and small hints of the ethanol remain. Subdued darker berries. Early tastes have the twang of lemon acidity balance of tannins. Medium body. I am sure i would have liked this a fair bit more if i had let it open up more before starting, and had a proper glass. Will revisit if i have the chance. Likely id rate it higher. Steak and lemon butter asparagus pairing. — a year ago
I’m still so new it’s hard to identify flavors. I can get the tannins, some berry esque flavors. Maybe a tad bit juice and dry. Not my favorite but not bad at all. — a year ago
