Not a full on ramato style but a big rich Pinot Grigio all the same. With checking out. Was great with p soupy polenta and shrimp. — 7 years ago

Damn fine for a Sauvignon Blanc! — 6 years ago
Rich, ripe pear fruit. Mid to full bodied. Good acidity. An absolute pleasure. — 6 years ago
Classic. Still young and tight. Opened up after a time in decanter. Great with Beef Bourgogne! — 7 years ago
Nobody makes still red wines from Blauer Wildbacher. NO ONE. Rosé, bubbly, sure. Lacking in fruit, tannic, softer acidity than expected compared to rosés from this varietal. For the adventurous. — 8 years ago
Raspberry and sweet cherry fruit. Light bodied. Nice acidity. Loved it. — 6 years ago
Impressed by this producer. Classic Friulano. Light, crisp, great acidity with nice fruit. A perfect aperitif wine with Prosciutto di’Parma. — 7 years ago
Floral, funky and weird. The only Arneis that has surprised. How did I miss this one? From Dressner of course. — 7 years ago

Showing lots of sweet figs and sultana with hints of dark chocolate. Lower acidity than should be for a wine to last to this age. Perhaps a bit past it’s prime. Certainly not on the same league as Y’quem. — 5 years ago
