Serious wine with deep ashy fruity taste. Subdued plum/fig jam in the background.
Goes great with spicy food, carpaccio salad, cheese plate or other food that is served with some fruit on the plate. It is also one of those wines that you can easily drink without food, but do yourself a favor and light a cuban cigar. Fruity subtone comes even more alive.
I wouldn't recommend it with steaks, as it is better suited for different combinations, but be assured, you will not go wrong if you serve it at any occasion.
Bottom line, great wine that has a place on every wine shelf. — 7 years ago

Great easy going wine you can drink at every occasion. Serving it with fish/chicken/summer salad and its citrus tones come alive and refresh the occasion. Serving it at receptions or as a starter wine, its easy taste is not to intrusive, but at the same time complex enough to make people look at the glass.
Bottom line, this is just one of those wines that are not spectacular but good enough to recommend to everyone. Especially for the price. — 7 years ago
