Very good and mellow. Being a '96 vintage it has lost a bit of flavor. But with Tri-tip, garden fresh corn and feta/Italian dressing/garden fresh Roma tomatoes (well, it is my birthday) the wine is just fine. — 8 years ago

Like another reviewer - wonderful! Had the bottle with tri-tip steaks. Very smooth, lot of pepper at the finish. No harshness. Best I've had over the past few years. — 9 years ago

1996 Vintage - went through 3 bottles with BBQ tri-tip on the 4th with family. This was very nice (I have a cold) but the rest of the family thought it was fantastic. Went too fast. — 8 years ago

Nice. Pulled it out to share with the wife and daughter over a nice tri-tip. The Mrs. & I loved it. Peppery and smooth with a bit of tannin left. Should be great for a few more years. — 8 years ago

Nice red table wine. Had with a nice steak, tomatoes/feta/Italian dressing & potato salad. Seemed to have a mild peppery finish, with a slight melon taste at the finish. A good choice where a red is needed. — 9 years ago
