Upon first taste, it was very tannic, acidic with dark fruits. The finish was very odd. In my opinion, the finish tasted like blood; highly mineral-y, and iron-like. After letting it breathe for 30 minutes, the metallic finish started to smooth out. I let it breathe for 24 hours and the wine was 100% better. Tasted like a totally different wine. I'd recommend letting it breathe in a decanter. — 8 years ago
