Definitely a steal. Smooth, black cherry with some herbaceous notes, finishes with dark chocolate. For $11. Steal, right? — 9 years ago
Color is deep red, tannins are medium minus, acidity is medium. Heavy on red cherry, some clove and anise, finishes with a lot of tobacco. I love tobacco in a red, but this is a little heavy, ending up tasting a little like wet wood pulp — 8 years ago
Very crisp, vegetal. Works best with dinner rather than just for drinks with friends, as the dryness needs a compliment — 10 years ago
Like any good gewurtz, it's very lychee driven. There's barley honey and Meyer lemon in there, which brings in some acidity. But there's a strange zip at the back of the throat. A slightly funky sting, almost like a strong blue. That's not a bad thing, just rather interesting. Would recommend more for meals than drinking with friends — 9 years ago
Extremely smooth, but the buttery flavor is almost overpowering. Drinkable, but would not buy again — 10 years ago

Not bad. A lot of raisin, little bit of treacle. Not my cup of tea — 8 years ago
