Great little graves semillion sav bland. Lend. Light oak, a hint of flowers, and lots of vanilla.. smells like straw. Easy finish. — 7 years ago
My first quattrocento... not my favorite Spanish wine. A bit hot, a bit green. I get bitter chocolate, young plum and lots of pepper. — 7 years ago
Nice dry Greek... Pinot Grigio style but way more complex. Mineral and citrus but with rounded out and lasting palate — 7 years ago
So this year was 100% Cab as I recall..Very nice and wish I let it cellar longer. Complex dark fruit, rich tobacco, and spice with candied fruit and chocolate finish. — 7 years ago
Easy drinking rioja, at 3 bucks a glass in Pamplona, not bad... — 7 years ago
20 year old Syrah? From A wine pioneer? I’m pairing it with a giant Del Frisco’s steak.
it’s still tart and assertive but the age brings out earthy herbal notes that counter-balance nicely. Glad to have enjoyed it! — 7 years ago
Nice 4th growth... still a bit young, should be ready in 5-10. — 7 years ago
Another new wine at a beautiful location... crisp grapefruit, slight mineralogy, with a hint of butteriness. Reminded me a fresh Viognier. Going to have to add this to my list — 7 years ago
