Still too young but interesting. When opened it seems to be a nicely balanced light red wine. 20 mins later less flavour and very salty tannjns. 40 mins later, immature vanilla and sour cherry flavours. This needs ageing for a few more years to develop its full potential. — 7 years ago

Wonderful dark, rich wine. It feels like it is still maturing. Wonderful to drink now with rich salty flavour and rich strong tannins, suggesting that this will continue to improve for several years to come before reaching its peak. — 6 years ago

Beautiful mature wine. Pale rim, mature brown core. Nose was a mix of light caramel, blackcurrant and elderberry. Still plenty of tannins on the palate and tongue. And a surprisingly long finish. Wish I’d bought more more of this back in 2000! — 7 years ago
