Opened 20150403. A pleasant, medium-bodied Coonawarra Cabernet with a dark cherry palate, but little tannin, oak, or complexity. A stunningly brief finish. Two hours offered little to no change, except for a bit of posterior palatal bitterness during a brief finish. On its own, not for me. Its experience improved notably with food. 14.5% ABV. — 10 years ago
A medium body, 2003 Montepulciano that initially had a limited nose, needing at least an hour before opening to a delectable palate of wild cherries, earth, and dark fruit. 14% ABV — 10 years ago
Delightful bistro, dining all'aperto. 2013 vintage. Nice blend, Mild tannin. — 7 years ago

2013 vintage, opened march 19, 2015. ABV 12.5%. Decent Sancerre with evident grass and minor citrus. A bit bitter for my palate. Still quite young. — 10 years ago
A delightful, well-balanced Cabernet Sauvignon with ample blackberry, mild tannin, subtle cedar. A remarkable find at this price point. 13.5% ABV. — 10 years ago

A remarkable treat amongst a wine pairing while in Madrid at Santceloni with Brad, SLB & fam, Miguel, & Rubén. A wonderful balance of fruit & tannin in this RdD. Surprisingly affordable mastery. — 10 years ago
Opened 20150328, in celebration of my father, Lou, on his birthday. Vivid, golden straw color, with a base of toast & pear, and hints of citrus & mineral. Nicely representative of its 60% Pinot Noir composition. A "big" champagne with a superb and an enduring finish, representative of its intended celebrant. (Thank you, John!) [12 hours later: As above, but with even more citrus and toast. That said, what a finish!] — 10 years ago
