One of the best wineries in Napa. Can be consumed now but would benefit for a few years aging as tannins are very firm and surround the fruit forward taste. Still amazing, especially after 30-45 min in a decanter — 8 years ago

Absolutely stunning. Big fan of shafer and the hillsides and relentless selections. This 05 cab was supsiringky just as delicious and was up there with its big brothers. What a treat this was with the age. Brought the tannins down and refined the taste. Bunch of chocolates and mochas — 8 years ago

Dark inky purple wine that covers your wine glass, teeth, and palate. Absolutely delicious fruit forward wine that is a bit heavy in tannins but can soften up with age and air in a decanter. Another Shafer Special that has Elias Fernandez's finger prints all over it — 8 years ago
