It can be improved because there is an imbalance in the flavors. While some people appreciate fruit forward flavors, I don't expect that in meritage blends. Perhaps this needs to mellow by sitting for a bit longer, or just not drink it as your first bottle. — 9 years ago

There is flavor and body - but it isn't the most smooth Bordeaux style blend nor do I pick up complexity in flavor. But it's still worthwhile for a drink! — 9 years ago

Ive never has this without mixing it with peach soda. The problem is that the bubbles look too big and I don't want to get sick. But mixing it to make peach bellinis is perfect! — 9 years ago
I think Pinot Noir just isn't for me. I've tried ones from Monterey county, the Sonoma coast, and Willamette valley, and I've never been too thrilled. Part of the reason I don't get excited is because the flavors comes across as bland. This wine receives a similar critique, but it's probably my preference and not the wine. "It's kind of like a flat soda pop" -my friend who was drinking with me and definitely isn't from the Midwest — 9 years ago
