I really enjoy this style of Sauv Blanc. High acidity, great structure, and loads of minerality — 7 years ago
First Israeli and Kosher wine.
Aroma: reduction, bright pineapple, unripe pineapple, mineral
Taste: match stick, oak, hint of malo, overripe pineapple, papaya.
Medium+ acidity, as it opens the alcohol is more present
Blinded the staff and got either Pinot Grigio or old-world Sauvignon Blanc. — 7 years ago
Maybe the best sparkling wine I’ve had — 7 years ago
White flowers and non-oxidative nuttiness, love it — 7 years ago
Reductive and a little eggy, which has diminished a lot after being open and jostling around my car for a day.
The aroma is packed with crushed pepper, dried herbs, and a hint of gaminess alongside some minerality.
The gamey quality really inserts itself into the flavor along with the crushed black pepper along with some tart Balaton cherry skins and a kiss of candied cherries. The reductive quality is still there lurking in the background. — 7 years ago
A Portuguese Beaujolais with a hint more tannins — 7 years ago
Wow...opened it undisgorged to see how 12 years of lees influenced the wine.
So much complexity with notes of almond, dried apricots, orange peel, baked apple, mushroom, brioche, dry hay, with a hint of VA. — 7 years ago
There’s a lot of black cherry, raspberry with more subtle cedar and light smoke. Balanced — 7 years ago
Really enjoyed this.
Aroma: crushed violets, blackberry skin, forest floor, mild lavender, and candied flowers
Flavor: Lots of blackberry, forest floor, mild spice mid-palate, dark cherry skin, and slate minerality
The tannins are soft and mild, with a very balanced body & acidity. — 7 years ago

Very dry with a great acidity. Notes of white flowers, unripe peach skin, almond, lemon pith, and subtle green apple.
Can’t wait to have this during the summer — 7 years ago
