Give this wine a chance to breathe a bit and it really mellows out. Recommended to me by employee at retail outlet at $11.90/bottle. Sure you can spend more but why?... A very drinkable Malbec for my unsophisticated palate! — 8 years ago
I'm sorry to say that this wine does absolutely nothing for me. The bottle I poured a glass from had no personality, no body, and was gone as soon as you swallowed what was in your mouth. At ~$17/bottle it was money not well spent. I could not finish the first glass I poured. How others are rating this wine significantly higher is beyond me. — 8 years ago
At $11.90/bottle your not going to beat this Pinot!!! If you can I'd like to know what your drinking!😉. Recommended to me by employee of retail outlet. They had the 2014 in stock but the 2013 was all gone due to popularity. The 2013 vintage is what was recommended to me and the one to get. I had to go elsewhere and bought a case! — 8 years ago
Strong tannins but not over powering. Spicy with some pepper. A nice casual weekday wine, at under $12/bottle! — 8 years ago
I'm not typically attracted to Malbec, but I like this vintage and the price is right — 8 years ago

This is not a wine that I would order when out dining, but it is ok for a glass at home. I tend to like Pinot Noirs that are softer. This wine needs to breathe a bit. But even so it is very fruit forward. A lady friend of mine bought it and we are having it with a pasta dish tonight. It is somewhat similar to Owl's Lair which we got at Trader Joes for under $10. You be the judge!
