Had a 1996 vintage from my mum's cellar, after transporting it home and having it laid to rest for about 3 to 4 months I hardly daren't open it, freightened it might have turned. Nothing was less true, after chambering it for about 2 hours I was astonished with the pleasant taste of red rubbies, some oak and a a vey mild touch of tobacco. For such and old wine I would have tought to have harder tannines, but here also, very mild tannines and a pleasant not overwhelming aftertaste Great wine to have with a nice steak, grilled food and of course game, but also in accordance with a rich cheese platter, they make a great couple. I wonder how much a bottle of tgis would cost nowadays? There are stil' few bottles left, wonder how they'll taste over the following years 👌👍💕 — 5 years ago
