One of the more enjoyable bottles I’ve had in a while. Lush and balanced. Ripe cherry with modest spice. Over delivered relative to expectations. — 3 years ago
Strawberry and herb / earth nose with fruit diminishing as it aired. Palate has a bit of mint / menthol. Smooth and light / medium body. — 4 years ago
Lovely. Delicate and round with primarily cherry flavors and hint of earth — 4 years ago
Nose of almond, white flower, and wet rock. Medium acid with palate of unripe pear and apple. Light body — 3 years ago
All Riesling on the nose but more fruit with minerals as a secondary note and little / no petrol initially. That evolved as the wine warmed / opened and the aroma became more unctuous (although maintained the fruit). Weightier mouthfeel from the sugar that is balanced by acid and a richer Riesling. Really enjoyed this b — 3 years ago
Strawberry and herb / earth nose although the fruit diminished after exposure to air. Palate has almost a bit of mint / menthol. Smooth and light / medium body — 4 years ago
Punches above it’s price point by a mile. Garnet color, medium body, and medium alcohol. Deep, ripe cherry with hints of baking spice on the palate with mild and smooth tannins. Red fruit and dust on the nose. Would 100 percent buy again — 3 years ago
Thought this was a good example of aglianico. A bit closed and tough initially with both earth and fruit, after 24 hours of decanting it evolved into a velvety texture and good balance of refinement and brawn. — 3 years ago
