Amarone is still growing on me, so not my first choice for an Italian red ;-) still this deep ruby wine is solid and rich. It has aromas of black cherries, red current and a touch of ripe black fruits, medium body, round, smooth and balanced with good acidity. Lovely elegant smooth finish. My score 88, drink to 2022
