Quara 2015 Malbec . Vina Cabra Corral single vineyard, valle de Cafayate, Argentina. Okay, this is my favorite Malbec ever!!!!!!!! I will buy this. Aged for 12 months in French oak and American Oak 1/2 and 1/2. The color is dark. The bouquet is blackberry pie. The initial palate is blackberry and raspberry with buttery mid palate. There is oak and moderate spice. The finish is dry and the sour raspberry comes back. Big dry bold dark fruit with a moderate chewiness!!!! Yum yum yum!!!!! Not only is this my favorite Malbec, it’s my favorite South American wine hands down.
