Lussac-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

This medium bodied red has a nice smooth texture but a powerful finish. It would be interesting to see how this would taste after it was left to air for several hours.

Decent cheap Bordeaux. Structured with good firm acidity. Notes of black currant and dark chocolate.

Drank on 21/11/2019 at Majestic Poole’s Winter Showcase.
Toned down red. Ash and leather on the nose. Vanilla on the mouth. Quite nice wine.

Wonderful 2012 light oak, peppery with subtle fruits and went so well with our roast chicken!

Very rich, oaky and spiced red wine. Best left to oxidise for a while before tasting

Bitter and acrid. Thought it was corked.

Left to breathe for 30 mins. Lovely.

Riche en odeur. Sec et boisé. Mais beaucoup mieux apres 24h de decantation

2012 - definitely needs to breathe for a couple of hours before drinking to mellow out this wine - then is very tasty deep standard St Emilion. Would definitely buy again. Good cheese and dark meat wine.
