A little pricy for the quality but enjoyable with a nice pasta dish

Don’t always think of drinking amarone given the high alcohol, but this was a good choice with some aggressively seasoned chicken Parmesan. Dark flowers on the nose, very balanced, great acid with very present fruit and a nice long finish.

Had this at Gallo's Memorial Day 2017. Was probably a different year than this one but same location in Italy.

2011 vintage. Enjoyed Feb. 11 at Nick & Stef's in NYC. Luscious. Very concentrated. As already noted by someone, I could drink this all day. We just need this out west now!
