Needed some time to open, a hint of jam at first but rounded out nicely after an hour, Ruby in color, plum, cherry, but some pepper on the nose new French oak, really gave this wine a nice balance.

Stumbled upon this in Calistoga and love it. It's a pop and go wine, fruit forward..not too bold, and the best bang for your buck on a Zin.
