
I get a raisinated quality to this zin reminiscent of certain Italian varietals I've had, but any and all notes on the palate I get is blown away by the alcohol in it. The bottle says 15.6% but I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 16%.
Perhaps I need it with food. On its own it's too hot to enjoy.
