Capitel Nicalò Superiore Valpolicella Corvina Blend

Starts off obviously young and tight with very present green pepper notes. After some air rounds into a fuller earthy deep red cherry with licorice, very nice wine.

2020 vintage. Quite nice, similar to Nebbiolos I’ve liked. H found a bit too bitter

Medium ruby color.
Aromas of red fruit, earth, spice.
Dry. Flavors of earth, cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, leather, thyme. Medium, chewy tannins. Subtle barnyard notes.

Very smooth. No tannins and nice finish. A little fruit. Simple, not complex. No spice/pepper
