Oktoberfest
Now this is a pretty good and well made Oktoberfest, sweet malt, nice hop and floral notes, so far the best one I had this year, still early, if you like this style, this one is a must to try

1 person found it helpfulSep 15th, 2014Great hoary (off-white) head, minimal lacing, just scattered paramecium shapes. Beech bark, white plum, orange-caramel aloe, and soapstone aromatics, dry lemon, apricot bread, wheat flakes, yellow hay, black pekoe, twine. Complex for the style, doesn't rely on pretzel and bread flavored to make it delicious.

Aug 20th, 2015Toasted bread, brown bread crust, grape candy, and a leafy, herbal hop character.
Lots of toasty, bready notes with cherry/grape Jolly Rancher and an underlying metallic mineral note from the lager yeast.
Great project for SN pairing up with a different German brewer each year to come up with this. Nice to have a fresh example of this style.

Oktoberfest? Yes.
Not particularly special, solid though.

Really nice and drinkable this year. Must be the German brewery influence.

Aug 29th, 2015This the New 2015 release, what is very different is the brewery teamed up with a German brewer to make this wonderful, as close to the style as you can get, I really thought after tasting this that it was brewed in Germany, comes so close to the German Octoberfest beers I have had, Very good in the style, the best American Octoberfest I ever had, So far
