Shooting Star (Jed Steele)
Blue Franc Washington State Blaufränkisch
Nice change of pace from the usual suspects, Blue Franc from Washington state. Could pass for a Willamette Pinot but at an everyday price. Found at Revival Wine & Spirits downtown St. Paul.

Feta brought out the gaminess, Gouda brought out the smokiness, and pepper jack brought out the spiciness. I can totally see this being paired with BBQ or a rack of lamb! (Would not suggest to drink without food pairing)

Taste light but not anemic, the dryness is pleasant. Wet earth, faint berry.
