Dark purple, slightly closed nose, some indistinct black/purple fruit, missing some aromatic complexity. Medium plus body, med high alc, medium low acid. Wishing this had a little more snap and less confection.

Nice nose, chocolate, dark fruit and spice. A touch too much alcohol at the end.

Hints of cherries, tomatoes, pepper. Good start with a mild acidic finish. Very interesting wine. Not sure the wine represents the price $27

This wine has a lot of the features one would expect from a California zin blend. Plums, raspberry, blackberry jam, sweet spices, vanilla, coconut. Not too bold or jammy. But the Cortina Vineyard bottling is a big step up.

Big flavor for a Zin. Very bold fruits & dry enough with a little bite for the finish. Would drink again.
