Scholium Project
Babylon Tenbrink Vineyards Petite Sirah

Dark, but not heavy with just slight hints of minerality synonymous with an Abe Schoener wine

Another view of the potential future urban winery site for Scholium Project in LA. Don’t let the graffiti fool you, as a world class restaurant is building a home across the street. As for the wine, I prefer Abe’s Syrahs to the Petits. This was also consumed en Solo Cup, and the Babylon has typically been a bit too ripe for me.

Nov 19th, 2017Still a tannic beast though starting to become approachable. Not outrageous like other early Scholium wines. True to the variety.
