Just Black Currant
As promised in an earlier review, I wanted to discover what black currant tastes like since we all use it to describe flavor in our wine tasting! This IS NOT WINE , only juice so don't get confused. It is 100% pure unsweetened black currant juice with no preservatives nor artificial flavors. It is wonderful!!!!!!! I do not like sweet juice such as orange juice or pineapple juice. This is dark purple - like a dark cab. It has a sour blackberry / boysenberry / cranberry juice flavor. However it is easier to drink and it doesn't make my lips curl up from being too sour! It leaves my mouth dry! It has a long finish that is sweet!!!! But the beginning is a bit sharp on the sour side which I love. It is simply lovely! I do suggest tasting and smelling the things we use to describe our wine. I am going to drink a lot of this juice from now on! Probably daily!
