I don’t drink Zinfandel that often but I do like it. Clay Mauritson has a great touch with it from Rockpile. Deep raspberry tootsie pops and cola notes. Nicely running the edge between ripe and very ripe with good underlying tannin/acid structure. Drink or hold.

I don't always drink Cali Zin, but when I do it's Rockpile. Mineral component is amazing. Dark blackberry and cassis. Rich and aging well.

Very fresh. Could age for 4-6 more years easily. Rich and concentrated with nice tension and robust tannins.

A crazy cedar driven zin. A nice volcanic tombstone-like rock vineyard. Epitaph colored soils. A bit spicier and aged feeling. Bravo.
