Beautiful, powerful wine with a lot going on. Smoky campfire, licorice, blueberry, sage and thyme herb character. No one seems to ever note the significant floral dimension to this wine but I certainly am struck by waves of roses and violets. A hint of brett only enhances the complexity, both on the nose and the finish.
