Delicious, but definitely not quite in it’s prime. After a few more years this will be a star. The rendezvous is showing off now - I want to revisit this in a few years. I get strong notes of tobacco, herbs, and smoke balanced with some black cherry. Stronger acidity than than the rendezvous. This would make a great dinner wine!
