The closest thing I can equate this to is Racer 5 and other American whiskies distilled from IPA. It has a malty, hoppy essence on the mid palate. Spicy warm finish. Nice fruit, dry caramel, tobacco and earthy notes throughout. Good stuff and an interesting.
