Authentic, old-school, old-world aromas, no new oak to curb its energy. Chewy tannins, it could only be from the Douro. The fruit is little simple and shallow, just short of being excellent, but its honesty and modesty make it more appealing than many of the more ambitious/pretentious Douro reds.

A sweet, candy-like taste once it hits the palette, but as it sits longer, the sweetness gives way to more robust flavors and a hint of spice - an interesting combo

Portuguese wine - found at Swirl & Sip in Mosaic. Very nice and smooth. Lighter red.
