Big Lauer fan, but disappointed here. Big, chunky; atypically peaches and apricots rather than apples, pears or citrus; lacks cut and focus, completely NOT what I look for in Mosel; never mind Saar. Like average Pfalz.

Straw hue. Nose offers fragrant aromas of peonies, honeysuckle, wet gravel, crushed stone, apricot, and ever-so-subtle pâté notes. Balanced on the palate with soft acidity and a light texture.
